    Among low and middle income countries (LAMICs), Chile is one of the countries that has been able in recent years to develop consistent mental health policies and plans. For this reason, it was chosen by the International Journal of Mental Health for a special issue. Alberto Minoletti, collaborative member of the Gulbenkian Global Mental Health Platform, is presenting this special issue about mental health in Chile.
