International workshop on mental health

The workshop was organised in collaboration with the World Health Organization (Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Geneva), and with the participation of Fondation d’Harcourt (Geneva, Switzerland) and Cittadinanza Onlus (Rimini, Italy).

The workshop was held on March 16-18, 2016, in Tbilisi (Georgia). It was attended by mental health professionals, Ministry officials, researchers, and international experts.

The discussion was based on two working documents: a background document with the description and analysis of the current condition of the mental health field in Georgia, prepared by Global Initiative on Psychiatry-Tbilisi for this workshop; and the document “Promoting rights and community living for children with psychosocial disabilities”, co-produced by the World Health Organization and the Gulbenkian Global Mental Health Platform.

A set of recommendations that would advance the implementation of Georgian mental health reform for fostering human rights and quality of care of children and adults with mental health and psychosocial disorders and disabilities was discussed. This road map will be available soon.

There are currently four ways to purchase antibiotics without first obtaining a prescription. You may drive to Mexico, buy them online, buy them in an ethnic market, or buy them in a pet store.
